Kim Smith, the mind behind the cocktail, has been raising horses all her life. She came up with the formula while caring for her horses and she felt that there wasn’t a supplement on the market that could match one that she created herself. After several years of refining the formula, the current version of Kimmie’s Cocktail was born. Initially, the cocktail was largely used at home only, but over time many people began to want a bit for their horses, so she found a way to manufacture it herself. Now there are thousands of horses hooked on Kimmie’s Cocktail and Kim and her family still maintain the recipe and the production themselves.
